Figaro has introduced its carbon dioxide (CO2) gas sensor module CDM4160, a new unit which uses TGS4160, Figaro's high durable solid electrolyte CO2 gas sensor, making this module the ideal choice for indoor ventilation control and CO2 monitoring in factories and agriculture where conditions are more severe than in residential applications.
Due to Figaro's proprietary method of signal processing with a microprocessor, this module is maintenance-free.
When compared with traditional CO2 sensor modules using IR sensors, Figaro's CO2 module is much more cost effective, and it has a quicker response to CO2.

Models are available in three CO2 detection ranges:
CDM4160-L00: 400-4000ppm
CDM4160-M00: 400-8000ppm
CDM4160-H00: 400-40000ppm
